Our model provides primary schools with a specialist PE teacher for one day per week for the academic year.
Working alongside primary teachers allows the specialist to mentor the primary teacher, taking a collaborative approach to the planning and delivery of lessons as well as advising on the collation and use of pupil assessments.
Monitoring of teacher development is also key. This can be evidenced through lesson observations both formal and informal along with teacher feedback with regard to their own progress throughout the process.
A Sporting Chance runs holiday camps for 9 to 13 year olds. They are delivered by qualified PE teachers or qualified coaches in the sports that they deliver. As well as Bushcraft, Archery, Skiing, Mountain biking, Trampolining and Team building, we will deliver the traditional sports, games and competitions. These holiday courses will allow the children to participate in fun, action-packed days where they can try new activities as well as compete in organised games and competitions.
We have use of a beautiful period property called Woodfield House which is situated in 30 acres on the site of Wolverley Church of England Secondary School amidst beautiful Worcestershire countryside.
